The True Essence of Christmas - LOVE!

The time come so fast. The month of November is over. And now, we are already feel the cool breeze of the air that reminds us that Christmas is near. Before that, it is our attitudes to decorate our homes and our surroundings when it comes to this occasion, and also preparing foods, gifts and attending a mass.

This month of December is the time of happiness, time of cheer and the season of joy. And this is the time also to forgive all the people who have sinned, give of what we have (always remember that it is better to give that to receive). But the true essence of Christmas is LOVE. Yes, love is the true essence of Christmas. So we should always give love to other. It is not important if you have a lot of gifts, but the important is to give love because if you do this they means it a lot and they realized how great they are.

So, lets celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ as we share our love to Him!! MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all!!!

"Filipino-Values Month Celebration!!"

Yes.. November is the monster month among the months in our calendar because this is the time to visit our loved ones who passed away! But on the other hand, our school, also celebrated the Filipino Values Club Month with the theme "Pagpapatibay sa Pagkataong Pilipino, tugon sa Hamon ng panahon".On this occasion we held different activities like poster making contest, kite flying, tagis- talino, food fest and sayawit.
Many students participated on the said activities.I, myself also participated during this occasion. I and my classmate joined the Sayawat contest and we thought that we're disqualified because we exceeded in time limit but thanks God , the judges consider it even though we exceeded in five seconds so we got the third place. We are happy for winning this contest, all our sweat and agony were all gone. After some days, we also participated in the food fest. We prepared to make a dessert but sadly our recipe not won or nominated as one of the nutritious food. But even though if its not nominated, we enjoyed preparing and cooking our recipe.
In this kind of event, Ive learned and encountered something..... something that I will never forget from my high school life!

"Second Quarter is Over!"

In our class, if we are talking to some topics or what we call it a lesson, there is a tendency that we are sharing our opinions, reactions and suggestions about the lesson that we have discuss..
The second quarter is over.. On this quarter, I encountered problems but I've learned some of it.I've learned on how to use the notepad and some tags. I remember also that we've discuss our lesson only once or twice because we have to finish of what we have encode and our teacher is too busy. Honestly, I am very sad of the result of our test, it is very low compared to other sections. But I heard that when somebody asked her if why did our scores was very low then she gave good reason of that.
Hopefully, on this quarter, we are now more serious and we take time for discussions and many more...

My Teacher, My HERO!!

A hero is someone to helps people in need. An inspiration in facing all the challenges, problems and an inspiration in reaching our goals in life. So, did we consider that teacher is a hero?
Students like me consider our teacher a hero because they help us to improve our self , to enrich our minds about what happening to our surroundings. We consider them also as a second mother/father because they can support us in facing our challenges in life. We should remember that if there is no teacher, there is no professional people in this world and we should remember that they are the reason why are people reach their own goals. My teacher is a hero because she/he has the responsibilities in school, she/he is a hardworking person because they help to other people. They give their opportunity to teach us even if sometimes they get tired, they sacrifice theirselves. I know that teacher is working so much not because of the money but for the sake of other people, I mean, they want to help people.
So, let's salute our teachers !! And we say THANK YOU!! We are PROUD of you Ma'am/Sir!!

ADAPTING TO DIVERSE SCIENCE CULTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT !!

Being a science clubber, I can adapt to diverse science culture for the development nation by doing good things that can help to our environment. For me, science is one of the hardest subject in our school but supposedly I've learn a lot of things on it.
I can adapt myself by joining some of the activities about science. I will use the 3'Rs which is reuse, recycle and reduce. I will plant more trees and I can be a model to my fellowmen. But why do we need to do this?.. We need to do this not only for the betterment of our nation but we need to do this for our own good health.Nowadays, science is going further meaning that there are many new inventions and progress in our world. We should adapt to the diverse science so that we can understand what is going on, on this world. We must also know the consequences if we overused the technology we are using now. If we can do this, also help for the progress of our nation and the world. We must always bear this in
mind that development in Science is something that everyone can draw from and
be empowered by, something to which everyone can contribute, and engaged with
rather than isolated from other spheres of human activity.

IM PROUD BEING A FILIPINO!!

We all know that all countries in the world have its own national language. And because of that, Philippines is one of them!! For my fellowmen, did you experience to communicate to other people who has different dialects? What did you notice? Did you understand each other? THAT'S WHY!!
In our country, there are places with different dialects such as Ilocano, Pangasinense, Ilonggo, Waray, Cebuano, Bicolano and soon. As of now, if we go to some places, we experience to communicate each other, but how did we understand each other?? So, the late President Manuel L. Quezon considered "father" of Filipino as the national language of the Philippines. He worked hard for the inclusion of a provision that would require the development of a national language for the Filipinos. He proclaimed the national language of the Philippines based on the TAGALOG dialect.Tagalog is widely spoken and is the language most understood in all the regions in the Philippines.
So, what are we waiting for?? come and master the Filipino language!!And be PROUD being a FILIPINO!!

MY REFLECTIONS IN MY STUDY

When I enter this year as a fourth year student, I feel sad because this is the last year in secondary. There are so many memories that so unforgettable and mistakes that I've learned as a high school student.
The first quarter is almost done. And now, a new lesson that we should learn, that is the T.L.E subject. I can say that this subject is challenging and interesting because it’s about the computer, a computer is a technology that can help us to finish our works easily and faster. I have lots of lesson that I've learned from our teacher and that is Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz and the best that I've learned this first quarter is on how to create a blog. But as of now, I don't have yet encountered or facing problems with my T.L.E subject. I can follow our lessons easily, but sometimes, in posting our works with my group mates have no enough time to finish it so I finish my work in our house.
When time goes by, I can now apply the lessons that I've learned. I can explore more things about what I encountered. I’ve learned so much like the history of internet, history of blogs, on how to create a blog.I enjoyed so mush with our subject....

Speak in ENGLISH or FILIPINO with kindness

We need to speak English or Filipino so that we can understand each other. But we all know that English is the international language in the world and Filipino is the language in the Philippines.
We Filipinos, on the other hand, learned English starting from preschool and high school if we ever hope to enter college. We are forced to learn it.We have long prided ourselves at being better English speakers than our Asian neighbors. But sadly, ours is also a country where the majority, given the opportunity, would leave the country in a heartbeat and head off to the proverbial land of milk and honey. Our mastery of English has not made us any smarter, only more confident and bolder to head into the unknown because at least we wouldn’t feel as alienated if we didn’t know how to speak the language.

wastong nutrition kailangan, lifestyle diseases iwasan

Why do we need to take a proper nutrition foods to avoid lifestyle diseases?
The world itself needs leaders to lend the countries through the years and we, the youth are next in line. But nowadays, diseases become abundant and was spread through direct contact or contamination. We need to change.
Lifestyle diseases are those which can be caught by improper hygiene, thus we must eat like vegetables and fruits to increase our resistance from this diseases. If our immune system fails to that, it would be the time when these diseases will strike and take control to our body, leaving us with scars and pigments of sacrifice and just lying there in bed.Prevention is better than gallons of cure. Before they would strike, we have to strike first for we are the key players of ourselves.
So we must protect ourselves and avoid all bad vices to live a healthy life!!
